Merseytravel Hate Crime Pledge
‘We pledge to stand together and work in Partnership to tackle hate crime on Merseyside’s public transport network’
In order to reassure those using local public transport, Merseytravel have announced their Hate Crime Pledge last Thursday at their headquarters on Mann Island. The pledge has been signed by bus and rail companies across the region, as well as Merseyside Police and British Transport Police . It is also supported by local charities and victim support groups.
