Wirral Safeguarding Partnership Board – Events
On 14th November 2024 Wirral Safeguarding Adults Board held a ‘Let’s Talk About Adult Safeguarding’ Event at Tranmere Rovers Football Club. The Event provided professionals with the opportunity to be part of some bite sized presentations on areas including Radicalization, Cuckooing and Harmful Practices. There was also an opportunity for staff to Network and speak to our partner agencies, with over 200 staff attending the event.
There was also the opportunity for organisation to sign up to the Communications Charter as pictured below
On the 23rd November 2023, the Wirral Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board held our first Safeguarding Adults Network and Awareness Event at Tranmere Rovers Football Club. The event gave professionals the opportunity to come along and speak to our partner organisations and network with other professionals. The event was well attended with over a 150 professionals coming through the doors.
Feedback comments included ‘Really good resources’ ‘Great opportunity to speak to other professionals face to face’ ‘Found some interesting resources, that I didn’t know about!!’ ‘Very informative event, we need this to happen more!!’
